Ahhhh August....summer at its peak! Sweet! My chance to do something new on a road trip in Norther Nevada.....entrelac with Noro Silk Garden... made the trip fruitful!
Here is the June 2008 Flap of the Month Club flap. I LOVE Roses and since that is the flower of the month of June AND June is my birthday month...how appropriate is that! I had a lot of fun designing this month's flap....because it has FELTING! (which I love to do) and because it is roses!
Here is out flap for April! I wanted to try this pattern from Barbara Walker's Second Treasury of knitting pattern. I like it enough that I will probably design a summer top with it!
The yarn is one of those we used last year for the Easter eggs in the grass (April 2007 flap)
I like to put leftovers to good uses. (Oh, and did I say I LOVE this pattern???)
I love it when the daffodils bloom! It means the days really are getting longer and warm weather is just around the corner. Daffodils are the flower for the month of March so I decided to celebrate them! AND another view of the braided handle! Enjoy!
I thought you might like to see the purse without the flap, and with a close up of the handle/strap. It incorporates a braided I cord that really sets it apart!
Here is the BAG for the Flap of the Month Purse for 2008!! Yeah! I wanted a purse that was different from last year's but that could use the flaps from last year! Let me know what you think!
This shows the "Neutral Flap" that is sometimes used to highlight different months (especially ones we do flowers for!
